MIMIC A DANCE

  • NO OF PARTICIPATION – 2 PER COLLEGE
  • IT TAKES TWO TO TANGO, CHOOSE YOUR MOST COMPATIBLE PARTNER AND DELIVER A POWER PACKED PERFORMANCE REPLICATING THE DUET SONG BEING DISPLAYED.
  • THERE WILL BE TWO ROUNDS.
  • IN THE FIRST ROUND THE DUET SONG WILL BE OF YOUR OWN CHOICE.( VIDEO SHOULD BE SUBMITTED IN A PENDRIVE A DAY PRIOR)
  • IN THE SECOND ROUND THE SELECTED PAIRS HAVE TO DANCE SIMULTANEOUSLY FOR THE SONG GIVEN BY US.
  • DURATION – 2 + 3 MINUTES= 5MINUTES OVERALL

  • PARTICIPANTS CAN DO A SKIT , DRAMA, MOVIE CRITIC,STAND UP COMEDY, MIMICRY OR PERFORM ANY SPECIAL SKILLS TO ENTERTAIN THE AUDIENCE
  • PROPS CAN BE USED
  • NO FOUL LANGUAGE
  • NARRATION TO BE DONE IN TAMIL AND ENGLISH.

  • SOUND TRACK MUST BE SUBMITTED IN A PENDRIVE 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE EVENT TO THE EVENT COORDINATOR

BEST OF BOTH MR &MS PERFECT SMILE AND DUBSMASH WILL BE DISPLAYED ON THE SCREEN AS FILLERS IN BETWEEN EACH PROGRAMS ON BOTH DAYS, THE WINNERS OF BOTH THE EVENTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED BY THE JURY ON THE LAST DAY.

FASHION SHOW

  • ONE ENTRY PER COLLEGE
  • A TEAM CAN HAVE 10-15 MEMBERS (INCLUDING PARTICIPANTS, AND COORDINATOR).
  • TIME LIMIT FOR EVERY TEAM WOULD BE 10 MINUTES (INCLUDING SETUP AND THE PERFORMANCE).
  • NEGATIVE MARKING IF PARTICIPANTS EXCEED TIME LIMIT.
  • THEME SELECTION IS OPEN TO THE TEAM.
  • A GREEN ROOM WOULD BE PROVIDED FOR CHANGING.
  • SHOULD CARRY THEIR TRACKS IN PENDRIVE.
  • VULGARITY IS STRONGLY PROHIBITED. ANY FORM OF OBSCENITY WILL LEAD TO DEBARRING THE TEAM FROM THE CONTEST.
  • USE OF CIGARETTES,FIRE, ALCOHOL AND ANY UNFAIR MEANS IS STRONGLY PROHIBITED.
  • TEAMS WILL BE JUDGED ON COSTUMES, THEME, WALKING STANCE AND ATTITUDE.
  • DECISION OF THE JUDGES WILL BE FINAL AND BINDING.

WESTERN DANCE (GROUP)

  • MOVIE TIME LIMIT 10MINS
  • THEME – RELATED TO DENTISTRY.

TALENT HUNT

  • SHOWCASING OF ANY ON STAGE TALENT WITHIN THE STIPULATED TIME IS ALLOWED.
  • THE TIME ALLOTTED PER PERSON IS 2 MINS (INCLUDING SET UP OF INSTRUMENTS OR PROPS OR DEVICES)
  • PARTICIPANTS SHOULD INFORM THE ORGANIZERS ABOUT THEIR CHOICE OF PERFORMANCE AND GET THEIR APPROVAL ON OR BEFORE 15-12-18.
  • MUSIC (IF REQUIRED) SHOULD BE GIVEN PRIOR AT THE DJ CONSOLE IN PENDRIVE FORMAT ONLY, WE DON’T ENCOURAGE CD.
  • ANY OBSCENE USE OF LANGUAGE OR SIGNS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
  • NO USE OF WATER, FIRE, SHARP OBJECTS OR LOOSE POWDER IS ALLOWED ON STAGE.
  • PARTICIPANTS SHOULD CLEAR THE STAGE AND TAKE THEIR PROPS WHEN THEY EXIT.

OFF-STAGE EVENTS

Flower Arrangement

Rules:
  • Only one team per college.
  • Three participants per team.
  • Students have to carry their own materials.
  • Artificial flowers are not allowed.
  • Students can have any theme/concepts.
  • 1 hour will be allotted.All participants should follow the time allotted.

BRIDAL MEHENDI

Rules:
  • Only one team per college
  • Three participants per team(Two participants and one model)
  • Students have to carry their own materials
  • Pre formed stickers and tattoos will not be allowed
  • Should be done in both hands from finger tip to elbow on both sides
  • Students may choose any theme or style of mehendi drawing
  • 1 hour will be allotted per entry.All participants should follow the time allotted.

NAIL ART

Rules:
  • Only one team per college with maximum of 2 participants.

  • Participants should bring their ten plain artificial nails for both the hands.
  • Use nail polish.

CANDLE CARVING

Rules:
  • Only one team per college with maximum of 2 participants.
  • Participants can choose any theme/concept.

  • Bring your own candles of any colour and size.
  • Candles should be shown prior to the competition to the respective authorities.

PHOTOGRAPHY

RULES:
  • Only one photo per participant.
  • Maximum 5 participants per college.
  • Photos to be taken only within the venue campus on the day of event.
  • The original captured image to be submitted.
  • Should not use any app to enhance the image.
  • Strict evaluation on the artistic skill of photography.
  • Participant will be disqualified if indulged in malpractice.

RULES:

  • Tattoo can be done on the hands or face.

POT PAINTING

RULES:
  • Two participants per college.
  • One participant per team.
  • Pots and the necessary materials should be brought by the participants.

  • No other materials can be used other than paints.
  • Pots should be shown to the respective authorities before the event starts.
  • 1 hour will be allotted and the participants should maintain the time allotted.

JEWELLERY DESIGNING

  • Participants can make any type of jewellery.
  • 1 hour time will be allotted.Participants should maintain the time.

RULES:
  • Two participants per college.
